What UPPER is and where it comes from

About UPPER

Business growth comes with team building in the first place, rather than advertising and productivity. Because we always talk about human resources, we end up forgetting that companies are made of people and that each person has a different attitude and behavioral skills.

UPPER stands for Untapped Potential Probe for Expertise Reveal. We can define it as a non-conventional business growth method. And it’s exactly its unconventionality that makes it work successfully giving new results in an innovative way.

  • Untapped: Together we agree on the qualities and hidden resources (skills – Soft Skills) necessary for the growth of both the company, the workgroups and the personnel
  • Potential: We clarify the potential and actual need
  • Probe for: Let’s try to qualify the current one and what the future structure could be
  • Expertise: We look for the skills in possession and to be developed through dedicated Quizzes, possible relocations and training courses
  • Reveal: With accurate analysis of certified experts we show “visually” which are the areas of strength and those to be developed and we develop all the details

The UPPER Method is composed of three different tests:

  • CCC: Corporate Capability Check. It measures the untapped potential of your company.
  • AAA: Aptitude Analytics Assessment. It measures an individual’s soft skills.
  • SSS: Sales Skills Study. It studies sales folks’ aptitude in relation to the commercial aspect.

About the creator

My name is Franco Nicosia, I have been a business consultant for over 25 years. I make businesses grow in various ways: from the UPPER Method to marketing management in order to actively increase sales, conducting expansion actions on new markets, or improving productivity.

In my spare time, rather than growing companies, I enjoy my family. I wrote a book, Practical Manual of Business Management (you can find it on Amazon) in which I explain the methods and the techniques I used over the years to help any kind of company. I believe in people and in the values, they put every day in their work.
